1. Who we are

Pump Bouldering Gym Pty Ltd (ACN 676 306 808, ABN 72 676 306 808), trading as Pump Bouldering ("we", "us", "our"), is opening a bouldering gym and private sauna in Gregory Hills, NSW, in March 2027. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in connection with this website (pumpbouldering.com.au) and our Founding Membership program, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

When you sign up as a Founding Member or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, used for SMS updates and to send the deposit payment link
• Your selected membership tier (Core or Premium), if provided
• Any other information you give us directly, e.g. by email or in person

We do not collect payment card details through this website. No membership or deposit payment is processed on the site itself; see "The $49 deposit" in our Terms & Conditions.

3. How we collect it

Directly from you, when you complete the Founding Offer sign-up form on this site, or when you contact us by email, phone or in person.

4. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose it

• To add you to our Founding Member list and contact you about your membership
• To send a confirmation email when you sign up
• To send updates about the gym's opening, construction progress and founding offers by email and/or SMS, where you've opted in
• To arrange your $49 refundable deposit once bookings open, and later process membership payments, by text message and through our booking/payment partner once it's live
• To respond to your enquiries
• To comply with our legal obligations

We only use your information for these purposes, or other purposes you'd reasonably expect, unless the law otherwise permits or requires it.

5. Marketing & unsubscribing

If you've opted in (via the sign-up form checkbox) to receive email/SMS updates, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in an email, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us at [email protected].

6. Who we share information with

We use the following third-party service providers to run this site and manage our Founding Member list. Each only receives the information it needs to perform its service:

• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), our contact management and email/SMS marketing platform, used to store your sign-up details and send marketing messages. Brevo is based in the European Union (France).
• Resend, which sends the automated confirmation email after you sign up. Resend is based in the United States.
• Railway, which hosts this website. Railway is based in the United States.
• Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and DNS for this website, and may process traffic through its global network.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

7. Overseas disclosure

Because some of the providers listed above are based outside Australia, your information may be stored or processed overseas (including the EU and the US). We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including by relying on our service providers' own security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including for the life of your membership and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements, after which it's deleted or de-identified.

10. Cookies

This website doesn't currently use tracking or advertising cookies. It's hosted on Railway with Cloudflare in front of it, which may use strictly necessary cookies or technical identifiers for security and performance; these don't identify you personally.

11. Access & correction

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, including as our booking and payment systems go live ahead of opening. The current version will always be posted on this page, with the date it was last updated.
